BIOGRAPHY
I fell in love with photography while in school along with my other hobby of sketching portraits. I would spend hours sketching faces of women I admired and men I had a crush on! Till one fine day, an unpleasant experience made me put away pen and paper for many years.

Life took me on other paths and careers, including that of a teacher, special educator, and finally led to studies in San Francisco in Transpersonal Counseling. Since then I work as a psychotherapist in Mumbai, India. But during that period of building my practise, my contact with clients from all walks of life, made me see the "portrait" in each face. And though I did not take pictures of my clients, it began my reconnection to photography. Only this time it was easier as digital camera photography can make most amateurs into reasonably good photographers!

I enjoy taking photographs and experimenting with changing faces of people into more ethereal & mesmerizing ones with a touch of otherworldly beauty, using Photoshop and other tools.
A lot of my work includes 2 of my all time favorite actresses - one living, one who has passed into the other realm but whose beauty remains undeterred in this world still.
